Out Of Africa

Most of these have not been retouched but are in RAW form.  I did acquire some dust on the sensor while shooting earlier in the summer.  Not like it was dusty where we were or anything but that’s why you see the black spots mainly in the sky or background.  These are easily taken care in photoshop.  Take and use what you’d like.  Colors are also able to be adjusted to match.  For instance Cam shirt looks more raspberry than red which would require a bit of an adjustment.  I’m open to touching up one photo to get the eyes to pop, bright up spots and clean up others.  If you want more then we can work out some sort of arrangement via transfer into our local mnmsp/sv min account.  No pressure to use these at all.  It was just something fun to do when we had the time and the scenery.

Masaai

We traveled to help with a outreach to Masaai girls who are left at home while their parents go to market.  Many of these young girls travel over several miles with their baby siblings on their backs to join in for the weekly bible study, praise and worship, and a small meal.  Some have been threatened not to return, yet they still come. It was amazing to see them come in from all directions over land by foot… bit humbling as well.  We take so much for granted.  Later in the week we had the opportunity to show the Jesus Film to the village and help with the health clinic and some foundation work.  We are back near Arusha.

Briefing In And Breezing Out

We’ve all made it here to Chicago.  God is good all the time!  After a quick turn around of getting to know each other, going through some expectations, talking about representing Jesus well by loving our team and loving others, prayer, a last cheeseburger and slice of pizza, we are ready to board the plane and head to Africa.  We will land in Istanbul and then arrive in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania for a bit of a layover early Wednesday morning (late Tuesday night our time).  We will then tranist to our home in Arusha later that day.
